Resources

Resources sent to participants

The link below will take you to the expedition training resources. These are a supplement to the training our staff provide. It would be useful if you can share these with your students, in particular focussing on food, menus, kit and rucksack packing so they turn up well prepared.

Sample Route Maps

This list is not exhaustive, but will provide you with a typical route that a group may plan should you require these to be submitted to your EVC. They may also give you ideas for different locations for expeditions.

These will open in OS maps. You have access to an OS maps account via your EDofE account.

If you haven’t already created an OS account via EDofE this link will take you to advice on how to create one.

If you want to save the map as a PDF open it in OS maps and select print in the top right corner. You should now have an option to generate a PDF. You can alter the scale to get the whole of the route on 1 page, or you can print the route in sections.
