Open Silver Qualifier August 2025

Join us on a qualifying Silver expedition in the Lake District. Taking in breathtaking views over the fells. You will receive full training and support from our highly experienced instructors. You will need to have completed a training and practice expedition prior to starting. This can be with your school or another provider. We will need evidence of this.

You need to arrive at the start location for 10am on the 26th August. Departure is from 3pm on the 28th August. Drop off and collection is shown on the map below. The address for Google maps is Braithwaite Bridges, Braithwaite, CA12 5TF. It will show that the site is closed, but this is the closest address to the meet point.

Full details along with the consent and medical form and kit list will be sent to you via email after booking, so please ensure you fill in all the details correctly when booking.

We will provide tents, stoves, pans, gas, first aid kits, maps, compasses, roll mat and large rucksacks. Assessor reports will be sent to you post expedition and campsite fees are also included.

You need to bring food, clothing, waterproofs, sleeping bag, hiking boots, personal kit.
