Northumberland
Northumberland National Park is home to the cleanest rivers, cleanest air and darkest skies. Made up of sweeping moorlands and expanses of forest the National park is one of the most remote parts of England. The largest Dark Sky Park in Europe. Full of archaeological sites due to 10 000 years of human habitation, the Roman remains and Hadrian’s Wall being the most famous.

We currently use a couple of sites in Northumbria that allow for a varied challenge for groups.
Camping in vans for Sam Sykes staff is not always possible due to requirements of expedition. You will be informed if this is the case.
