Gold DofE Horse Riding Expedition – Brecon Beacons – July Practice, August Qualifier 2025

Based at Bigland Hall Cumbria this first class Gold horse riding expedition is not to be missed.

This course will take you to some of the most beautiful parts of the Lake District. You will get 10 days of time in the saddle, experiencing riding over varied terrain and through forests. A once in a life time trip, creating lifelong memories and friends. Places are limited to one group.

All the equipment you need is provided. We provide tents, stoves, pans, gas, maps, compasses, first aid kits, saddlebags, all the tack for the horses.

You get to ride an experience horse, who is used to being in the mountains, giving you a thoroughly enjoyable ride. All you need to bring is your personal kit and food.
