Open Gold Training and Practice July 2025

This is a training and practice expedition based in The Lake District. The expedition is run over 5 days, and will be challenging, exploring some of the more remote fells and peaks. A good degree of hill fitness is required.

Campsite details and start location will be sent to you closer to the time. You need to arrive by 12.00 on the 21st July. Collection is between 3pm and 4pm on the 25th July. Drop off is at Coniston Sports and Social Club, Shepherds Bridge Lane, Coniston, LA21 8AL.

Full details along with the consent and medical form and kit list will be sent to you via email after booking, so please ensure you fill in all the details correctly when booking.

We will provide tents, stoves, pans, gas, first aid kits, maps, compasses, roll mat and large rucksacks. Campsite fees are also included.

You need to bring food, clothing, waterproofs, sleeping bag, hiking boots, personal kit.
