Chilterns
The Chilterns covers 660 sq miles, with approximately half being designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Beautiful rolling hills, steep chalk escarpments and heavily wooded valleys, with some familiar places. Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, The Vicar of Dibley, Midsomer Murders and more have all been filmed here.
Campsite Locations
We use a number of different campsites in the area. These range from sites that can accommodate large numbers with full facilities to farms that offer a more basic traditional DofE feel.
Campsites are located in areas that allow multiple routes to be planned, catering for mixed abilities from a single school.
Camping in vans for Sam Sykes staff is not always possible due to requirements of expedition. You will be informed if this is the case.
