Access to venue
Campsite is accessible by coaches, however they need to approach from the B5056 via The Mires.
Please DO NOT try and approach the campsite via Stanton Lees OR Birchover Lane that leads to Upper Town Lane in any large vehicle. Both roads are very narrow and Stanton Lees is very steep making them both unsuitable. There is a sign that clearly states unsuitable for large vehicles. Please use the B5056 and The Mires.

Specific Issues
A lot of the roads are popular with motorbikes. The B5056 is busy with quarry traffic.
There are a number of rivers with swimming areas, particularly around Youlgrave. Participants are not to swim.
The site has peacocks, these can be noisy in summer.
There is a games room that the participants are not to use.
In peak season, at a weekend there are catering vans, it is unlikely we will be there at a weekend but if we are Sam Sykes LTD staff can use these, but need to be discreet. Participants are not to use these.
