Toilets Separate male and female facilities.

Potwash Sinks for pot washing near the toilet block.

Rubbish Bins in undercover area opposite toilet block.

Parking on hard standing at various points on site. On grass if not too wet.

Shelter Undercover cooking area available, opposite the toilet block.

Specific Issues

Students need to be briefed that they are NOT to congregate in or around the toilets due to complaints from the site.

River along the bottom of the site. Students are not to paddle/swim in this.

Site prone to flooding in prolonged heavy rain.

Site doesn’t open until 1st April.

Camping in vans for Sam Sykes staff is not always possible due to requirements of expedition. You will be informed if this is the case.
