Mobile Coverage Poor, coverage can sometimes be found near the front of the hut, or back over the bridge. If the hut is open you may be able to get the wifi code. Payphone on site.

Parking very limited especially if the hut is occupied. Space for a couple of vehicles. More parking available on the access road near the bridge.

Shelter none. Indoor accommodation can be booked.

Specific Issues

Lots of midges at times.

Can be a little tricky to find, once you have crossed the metal bridge over the reservoir the centre is only 200yds on the left. The building is set back from the road, with wooden gates. If you get to a bridge going over the road you have gone too far.

Site next to a railway line, these are steam trains and only run in the daytime.

Keys need to be returned/left at site on departure and gate securely locked.
