We are all ages between 17 and 24 and, we’ve all chosen to complete our gold award. The majority of us do not have long to complete our award as turn 25 soon.
We’ve had mixed views of us completing our award as many people feel it’s something you complete at school. We completed our qualifying expedition in the Lake District.
"It's a once in a lifetime thing. I don't think we'll get to do the things we've done again. It's just amazing. Just do it, definitely!"
It shows how I need to move forward with my course, with my career, where I can get the experience. It's helped a lot with my uni application

The best has been feeding the giraffes. I liked the aardvarks and tapirs, The whole mammal day was the best day. The worst... I think it's not long enough!
