February 2019 onwards – £26,000 pro rata*

*This equates to £112.08 gross pay per day

Additional – £30 travel allowance if travelling down the night before in Sam Sykes vehicles, £10 per assessor report completed

We are recruiting expedition managers to operationally run our DofE expedition courses in 2019.

Successful candidates will be active outdoor instructors, with many years experience of working with DofE expedition teams throughout the UK and perhaps overseas for a number of years.

Our expedition managers must be highly experienced and professional with the ability to work effectively within and in charge of dynamic teams, with participants from differing backgrounds.

This role requires individuals to work alongside our customers, key stakeholders and the company director to ensure safety, professionalism and the company ethos is upheld at all times.

Expedition manager positions are available to those with a summer ML as a minimum qualification, current first aid, current DBS check and DofE assessor status at gold level.

Expedition managers must have a proven track record of staff management, and course management at a very high level which is evidenced by work history with various companies similar to ours, over a number of years.

Our courses operate anywhere in the U.K, and the role will equate to commitments as per a 0.25 contract on specific dates between March and October 2019. There is no limit to any additional work expedition managers choose to do on top of the type of contract offered.
